Group Personal Training Classes
Group Personal Training Classes
If you love exercising in a group, or on a budget, then this is the solution for you.
Sessions are designed for all abilities, and every workout is different, so you’ll never get bored. There are many benefits to exercising outside, including:
Burns more calories
As outside terrain is uneven, your body is forced to work much harder than in the gym and, as a result, exercising outside burns up to 20% more calories than exercising indoors
Strengthens your core
As you are exercising on uneven surfaces, you engage your core muscles in order to stabilise your balance, which means you can strengthen your abs without even being aware of it.
Improves oxygenation
Exercising outdoors increases your absorption of oxygen, which can boost your mood.
Combats Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)
For many clients, attending an exercise session is the first opportunity they have had to get outside after a long day working indoors. Exercising outside also gives you the benefit of fresh air and vitamin D exposure, both of which help to prevent the onset of the Seasonal Effective Disorder (SAD), which can lead to depression.
Improves the mind as well as the body
You won’t just be improving your body – getting out in the fresh air will help clear your mind and boost your mood!
Of course if the weather is bad we use a church hall or my gym!
Sharon MacArthur Powell 55 years:
“I have been training with Jilly for a few years now and honestly love it! It’s a friendly and fun group and Jilly pushes me to train harder to get the results I want. I look forward to going and I can recommend her wholeheartedly.”
Liz Hoar 49 years:
“I have been coming to Jilly’s classes for over 15 years – that’s a lot of squats! I’ve kept going because of the variety, and the inclusiveness. I don’t think we’ve ever repeated a class and Jilly makes everyone feel welcome, tailoring the classes to different levels in a relaxed way.”
Lisa Rockwell 50 years:
“Jilly designs a varied group work out each week, combining strength training and cardio. The group always supports each other and is full of laughter and encouragement. Jilly ensures that each exercise is tailor made for members depending on ability and if there are any injuries. No one feels as though they can’t do it, as she positively motivates you throughout. Highly recommended”
Kate Badham 50 years:
“I’ve been doing kettlebell classes with Jilly for several years now. It’s not only good exercise for the body, but with the fun, relaxed nature of the class it’s great for emotional wellbeing too! Thanks Jilly”
Jackie Ford 50 years:
“Jilly’s classes are great for strength training and very social too! Every session is different and you can push yourself as hard as you want in a supportive environment.”
Kerry Arnold 52 years:
“I started training with Jilly 15 years ago – but then between kids and work, stopped for 8 years. 5 years ago, a very unfit me was welcomed back. Her classes are fun, informal and every class is different. I love the fact that I don’t know when the next burpee is going to hit me… I’ve seen my fitness improve so much in the past 5 years and Jilly has been a massive part of that journey.”
